Guided Winter Walking with Elite Guides

Guided Winter Walking - Climb Scotland's Munros in winter

The Mountains of Scotland are a truly magical place on Winter. Even the easiest summer hill walk can turn into a difficult day, but a day out in winter is so much more rewarding than a summer hill walk.

We offer Guided Winter Walking across the Scottish highlands from the Southern Highlands, Glencoe, Nevis Range and the Monadhliath to the Cairngorms.

Your qualified, friendly and experiences Winter walking Guide can work with you on the day and as part of the planning stage to get the most out of your time with Elite Guides.

Never used crampons, ice axe and winter boots or been out in the winter mountains. We can teach you the skills needed to help you reach the summit. Alternatively, maybe a day or two of winter skills coaching with a summit would be a more valuable use of your time.

Guided Winter Walking itinerary

You will meet your guide at approximately 7.30/8 am either at your accommodation or at an agreed meeting point, depending on your objective for the day.

You will need food and drink for the day. You will also need to have collected any hire kit the evening before. The days are short in winter and if collection can not be done until the morning then it will delay your start time.

We can also be flexible with start times, please do say if an alternative time would work better for you.
