A famous collection of great climbs from the 'Classic Rock' book by Ken Wilson (1978), with such routes as Agag's groove, the Long climb, Integrity, Savage slit and Ardverikie wall there is a route and a grade out there for everyone to get the experience they want.
Scotland has a some of Britians greatest ridges from Curved ridge and the Aonach Eagach in Glencoe to Ben Nevis classics such as Tower ridge and North East buttress and the Liathach and An Teallach traverses in the North West. These routes offer stunning situations and a truly memorable experience. In Winter they take on a completly different feel and a greater level of challenge and are considered to be some of the finest outings in the United Kingdom.
Another list, this time of the classic winter climbs the UK has to offer such as Combe gully, Point five gully, Deep cut chimney, the Pumpkin, Crowberry gully and Quartzvein scoop. Some of these routes come into 'condition' most winters but some may only be climbable on the very rare occasion, and routes on this list are considered 'a must' for any winter climber.
